Building a new Kayak

While the ananda rests a while waiting for improvements I decided to channel the rest of  my energy building a new kayak. This kayak at some point I also think of turning it into a trimaran. After you have tried and navigated one it is very difficult to leave it.
This is a 17 foot long kayak made according to the plans acquired at  Chesapeake Light Craft  . For its construction I used 4mm thick plywood cover with fiberglass cloth and epoxy resin.

Repair Time

The Ananda waiting for some renovations and necessary repairs, the first of which is to fix the bow that has some cracks and cracks resulting from a collision with a piece of trunk in one of its navigations, after this, the rudder blade is what next to modify, for this I think use a new design more effective that would replace the old, which incidentally was adapted from a Hobie cat. Of course a hull painting is also included, but the most important thing is to reduce weight, for which we are going to remove some wood that was put in the structure to reinforce the structure of the hull, and make the crosspieces or Amas with aluminum tube instead of wood.
